National Botanic Gardens

The National Botanic Gardens are located close to the city centre, in fact just 3 Kilometres away. This beautiful park is a haven for birds and other wildlife. There are cultivated flower beds, natural grasslands, wooded areas and a walk along the Tolka River. The park is open every day from 9 to 4.30 in Winter and 9 to 5 in Summer. It usually stays open for an extra hour on Saturday and Sunday.
