A Mediterranean Gull at Bullock Harbour, Dublin

Bullock Harbour is a small fishing harbour between Dun Laoghaire and Dalkey in South County Dublin. During the summer it is possible to rent a small motor boat and go fishing for Mackerel and Pollock.

There is a quay down one side of the harbour from where you can see Gulls and occasionally Black Guillemots, Cormorants and Gannets. The second quay wall runs along the road and it is possible to get close to gulls roosting here. In summer, it is a good place to see Mediterranean Gulls.

It is possible to park along this road. Watch out for Pay and Display sogns.

Sat-Nav co-ordinates for parking are: 53.285166, -6.108341

From here it is just a 5 minute drive to Colliemore Harbour, from where you can visit Dalkey Island
